Arbitrage sellers got done dirty by Amazon, ungated on many popular brands with 0 notice. Which means large amounts of inventory useless now, but it should be expected

You've created a huge business that provides next to zero value and has no moat

It's piggybacking off the work of others

Should count yourselves lucky that the opportunity was even there for a short while

That's how I view my time in arbitrage

I created no value, I made good money for a year or so

Then it got plugged

I don't look back on it like wow I created this..there's just nothing

In short you get paid when you create or build value in this world, that should be the focus

If you are in arbitrage;

Stop crying/panicking

Contact the relevant people at Amazon to see if you can get re-gated

And look to see where else you can offload your stock, plenty other retailers, overstock, walmart etc

Going forward

Build a brand. You at least now have a little of overlapping experience to help you, now apply to building something real and bigger for yourself
