Most Amazon FBA gurus tell you to launch only products that are 15-40$

Here's why you shouldn't listen to them:

1: Its saturated

Every FBA guru has been saying 15-40$ for years So thats where everyone is looking for research and launching Dominated by new fba sellers copying each other and Chinese coming in and undercutting everyone

2: Margins are shit

All of my products are in the 60-700$ range Those upper products have margins around 43-52% Try getting that with your 20$ product

3: Premium > Standard

15-40$ is generally standard products. Small margins. Why compete there. With premium products you'll set your own prices above, have more margin and can spend more on advertising as a result

Creates a moat long term that make it hard for others to copy you

The number one objection you probably have is; won't it cost more to launch?

No

With higher ticket comes lower volume; smaller niche keywords

We're not going for 10k search volume keywords

You do not need to order 1000 units

Plus; I'm firmly against doing huge orders and forced launches to rank at the top, especially for beginners.

If your product is great and converts to sales, you will naturally rise in rank without using sales/heavy discounts, fake review boosts, external traffic etc
